Joy Tashjian Marketing Group (Booth #5418) has secured three new merchandise deals, ranging from electronics to kitchen stationery, for NBC’s reality fitness competition The Biggest Loser. The new licensees to join the property are Lang Holdings for an audio-based product called “The Daily Dose”; Jakks Pacific for recipe organizers, recipe cards and kitchen stationery accessories; and iToys for a personal handheld electronic device and a portable personal trainer device.
“We’ve been able to transform The Biggest Loser into a burgeoning lifestyle brand built on effecting change — encouraging people to lose weight, better themselves and live a healthier life,” says Mark Koops, managing director at Reveille, the production company behind the show. “These two new partners are a great addition to our licensees and will provide effective, fun ways to make that change.”
Already, The Biggest Loser brand has license agreements with Rodale Publishing for fitness books, Lionsgate for workouts DVDs, Taylor Precision Products for weight management and food scales and many others.
