Carrefour Tests Convenience Format in Paris

The Carrefour group is testing a new convenience format, Carrefour City, aimed specifically at city dwellers. The first pilot opened in Paris last week and two more stores in Nîmes and Avignon are set to open imminently.

The city convenience pilot follows a similar scheme for rural convenience stores, called Carrefour Contact.
