Licensing Into and Out of the Toy Industry (Basic Level)
This session is a primer on negotiating a merchandise license agreement. It will be presented in layman’s terms by an attorney who has also served as a vice president of merchandise licensing at a major motion picture studio and two manufacturing companies. Included will be a discussion of the key terms of an agreement, and the negotiations from both the licensor’s and licensee’s perspective.
Auditing & Policing Royalty Agreements (Intermediate Level)
This session covers the intricacies of proper royalty contract management, touching on key terminology in the license agreement and focusing on the obligations for both licensor and licensees in order to get the most out of licensed property.
