CPLG Canada Signs Three New Properties, Adds Deals

CPLG Canada has signed on to represent The World of Eric Carle, Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight and (Not So) Scary Monsters.

For The World of Eric Carle, CPLG Canada is seeking partners in apparel and accessories, electronics and online, publishing, stationery/party goods/seasonal, toys and games and health and beauty aids.

The agent will focus on partners for TV, DVD and merchandise for Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight. The Japanese TV series has already partnered with Bandai for master toy and interactive, as well as Namco-Bandai for video games.

London-based The Monster Factory’s (Not So) Scary Monsters will seek out partners along with CPLG Canada for plush, games and puzzles, publishing and preschool apparel.

Meanwhile, new licensees have been scooped up for current CPLG properties Jim Benton’s It’s Happy Bunny and Caillou. They include:

  • C&D Visionary for It’s Happy Bunny air fresheners, buttons, button sets, shoelaces, lanyards, patches, wristbands, incense, key chains, stickers, magnets and magnet sets (major retailers in Canada, 2010)
  • Trends International for It’s Happy Bunny posters, calendars, journals, stickers, tattoos, bookmarks and transfers (major retailers in Canada, 2010)
  • Imports Dragon, master toy licensee for Caillou, for toys in 2010
