Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Universal Orlando Resort have revealed details for the anticipated spring 2010 opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The Potter theme park at Universal’s Islands of Adventures in Orlando will offer fans multiple attractions, shops and a restaurant.

Working in collaboration with the films’ Stuart Craig, production designer, and Alan Gilmore, art director, park-goers will be able to drink Butterbeer in Three Broomsticks, buy Extendable Ears at Zonko’s, ride the Dragon Challenge twin high-speed rollercoaster and more. A wide range of Potter merchandise will be sold at Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods, including omnioculars and remote-controlled golden snitches.

“Harry Potter continues to spark the imaginations of fans of all ages and we really have seen the anticipation continue to build for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” says Brad Globe, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products. “We are excited to share with fans a first glimpse into the truly enchanted world we are bringing to life with all of our partners at Universal Orlando Resort.”
