EA Readies Hasbro-Inspired Games for Fall

This fall, Electronic Arts plans to release the next video game installment from the Littlest Pet Shop franchise — Littlest Pet Shop Friends, along with the sequel to Hasbro’s Family Game Night.
Littlest Pet Shop Friends, based on the Hasbro toy brand, will feature 16 new pets and will be available for the Nintendo Wii and DS.

“Girls are going to have a blast playing Littlest Pet Shop Friends because it is all about hanging out with their best friends as they share pet collections, discover new towns, and play mini-games together,” says Chip Lange, general manager of EA’s Hasbro division.

Also this fall, Hasbro’s Family Game Night 2 will hit stores. The sequel will feature Operation, Jenga, Bop-It, Pictureka and Connect 4×4. The game is currently in development for Wii and DS.
