Drive-in restaurant chain Checkers has selected IMC Licensing to manage its licensing efforts.
The fast-food chain already touts a licensed line of French fry and sandwich products. IMC Licensing plans to expand the brand into new categories for retail.
“We are delighted to represent Checkers and its innovative, youthful brand to expand the company’s current licensed product portfolio and to develop entirely new categories,” says Cara Bernosky, IMC Licensing’s president and co-founder. “We plan to target not only those who represent Checker’s fanatic core customer, but also those who appreciate the quality and unique taste they provide.”
Tampa, Fla.-based Checkers operates more than 840 restaurants in 29 states and the District of Columbia, under the names Checkers and Rally’s Hamburgers.
IMC Licensing’s client roster includes Butterball, Chiquita, Duncan Hines, Tabasco, Valvoline, General Mills and Borghese.
