Kate Moss Brings Liberty To Topshop

From high end, to High Street, Kate Moss is teaming up with iconic London-based department store Liberty for her next Topshop collection. The model is collaborating with Liberty’s print designers to create fabrics for her ninth Topshop collection. It is likely that the pieces will be co-branded, displaying both the renowned Liberty name, and Kate Moss Topshop. Incorporating the department store’s celebrated florals, the supermodel will use the prints for her signature tea dresses, which have remained a constant throughout her collections.

Topshop’s record profits of late have been accredited to the retailer’s licensing deal with Kate Moss, with owner Sir Richard Green stating “[w]e have been good for her, and she has been good for us”.

This will not be the first collaboration between Liberty and Topshop, following Monday’s launch of a lingerie line in Liberty fabrics at the Topshop Oxford Circus store. A second series of pieces is slated to be introduced in January. The collection will also be sold via topshop.com, the retailer’s online store.
