Marvel Promotes Fine to EVP Role

Alan Fine, has been promoted to executive vice president of the office of the chief executive at Marvel Entertainment. Fine joined the company in 1996. Fine’s brand-building responsibilities span across Marvel’s publishing, licensing, studio and digital divisions. He also leads the company’s creative committee.

“Alan’s extraordinary depth of experience in all facets of the entertainment industry, along with his knowledge of our company, our character brands and creative strengths makes him a strong addition to our office of the chief executive,” says Mort Handel, chairman of the board at Marvel Entertainment. “It is a great pleasure to announce this appointment which recognizes Alan’s immeasurable contributions to the overall success of our business.
