Paris Hilton Spreads Her Wings With New Parlux Fragrance

Parlux's Fairy Dust

Fragrance manufacturer, Parlux, has added another Paris Hilton fragrance to its portfolio, with the launch of Fairy Dust, the heiress’s fifth perfume, and the eighth fragrance for the Parlux brand.The Paris Hilton license is a $90 million property, according to Parlux chairman and CEO, Neil Katz, and the largest franchise for Parlux, followed by the Guess fragrance brand. Fairy Dust will launch in US department stores in mid-October, with international distribution expected in 2009.

Previews of the US ad campaign have generated considerable media coverage, with the print advertisements depicting Paris as a wand-wielding Tinkerbell asking “Do you believe in fairy tales?”. The US print campaign will launch in the November/December issues of Vogue, Lucky, Glamor, Allure, Seventeen and Cosmopolitan.
