This past weekend, Sears began rolling out pre-Black Friday deals and extended store hours in a campaign called “Black Friday Doorbuster.”
Besides weekly specials, which will rotate each week, the retailer will also open stores two hours earlier every Saturday through Thanksgiving. The day following Thanksgiving is traditionally referred to as “Black Friday,” the kickoff to the holiday shopping season.
Other major retailers continue to push their holiday offerings, including Walmart with its toys for under $10, as well as special discounts at Target and Amazon.com.
