Book publisher Random House has reportedly created an in-house video game development team.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Random House seeking potential buyers for two original works—a fantasy adventure and a horror thriller. In addition, the publisher has signed Stardock Corp. to develop a strategy game, called Elemental: War of Magic. The newspaper reports that Keith Clayton, Random House’s director of creative development, will lead the video game-focused team of 15 employees.
Random House is a unit of Germany’s Bertelsmann AG.
