Redbox Signs Distribution Deals with Summit, NCircle

Movie and TV titles from Summit Entertainment and NCircle Entertainment will soon be available at more than 15,000 Redbox self-service kiosks nationwide.

Redbox has signed two-year deals with both of the entertainment companies. Consumers will be offered releases such as Twilight and the upcoming The Twilight Saga: New Moon from Summit Entertainment, as well as the studio’s direct-to-DVD titles. NCircle properties will include The Jim Henson Company’s “Sid The Science Kid,” Dr. Seuss’ “The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That,” “Dive Olly Dive!,” “WordWorld” and Richard Scarry’s “Busytown Mysteries.”

Redbox Automated Retail is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coinstar.
