Target to Open 27 Stores, First Two in Hawaii

Twenty-seven new Target stores are expected to open their doors on March 8 across the US, including the first two retail locations in Hawaii. The new openings will include 21 general merchandise stores and six full-grocery SuperTargets. The 128,000-square-foot general merchandise stores will offer a Starbucks, Target Café, Target Pharmacy, Target Photo and larger dressing rooms. The six 186,000-square-foot SuperTargets will feature the same offerings as a general merchandise store but will also include a full grocery selection, fresh produce, bakery and deli.

Among the openings, a general merchandise Target store will open in both Honolulu and Kapolei, Hawaii, for the first time.
