Toys“R”Us Preps Deals for Black Friday

In anticipation of midnight openings on Nov. 26, Toys“R”Us is tidying its stores and stocking its shelves with a wide variety of playthings—more than 70 of which will be offered at special discounts until 1 p.m.

In addition to the doorbusters, the retailer will also preview 100-plus unadvertised “mystery deals” at 12:01 a.m., Nov. 25 at www.toysrus.com. The to-be-revealed deals are for toys to be sold in stores on Black Friday between midnight and 1 p.m.

“We’re raising the bar on Black Friday savings opportunities by expanding our store hours, offering the most sought-after toys in-stock when parents want them, and—of course—delivering outstanding values on items to fit any budget,” says Jerry Storch, chairman and chief executive officer of Toys”R”Us. “There’s only one Toys”R”Us! A sampling of licensed toy deals include buy-one-get-two-free on all Batman Dark Knight 6-inch action figures, 65 percent off Sleeping Beauty styling head vanity, $50 savings on Harley Davidson rocker ride-on, 60 percent off Star Wars Clone Trooper Blaster game, 50 percent off Bakugan BakuBowl and 60 percent off Transformers Bumper Battlers.
