Walmart Expands Garanimals into Toy Range

Garanimals, a children’s apparel brand, is introducing a line of play and learning toys exclusively at Walmart.

The range, retailing from $3 to $29, will include a pull-apart shape sorter, ABC wood blocks, bath boat with squirters, easy grab assorted wood puzzles and a 5-in-1 learning cube.

“The new line is a part of Walmart’s effort to enhance our preschool toy assortment and provide a new selection of quality toys that many moms will remember from their youth, with a superior value in comparison to specialty stores,” says Laura Phillips, chief toy officer and vice president of toys at Walmart.

Garanimals kids apparel arrived at Walmart exclusively in 2008. The brand is a division of Garan, a wholly owned company of Berkshire Hathaway.
