Warner Home Video to Distribute “Sesame Street”

Sesame Workshop has signed a multi-year home distribution deal with Warner Home Video for “Sesame Street.”
The exclusive agreement, beginning on Jan. 1, 2010, sees WHV distributing multiple “Sesame Street” titles in the U.S. and Canada. Content will come from the series’ library, new programs, EST and transactional VOD.

WHV partners have included the BBC, Dr. Seuss, Popeye, Peanuts, Hot Wheels, Viz Media (Pokémon, Naruto), Lucasfilm (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Microsoft Game Studios/343 Industries (Halo Legends), American Girl, Cartoon Network, Scholastic, The Wiggles, NFL and NHL.
