Zhu Zhu Pets Arrive at Build-A-Bear Workshops

About 50 Build-A-Bear Workshops have begun selling Zhu Zhu Pets in an agreement with toy maker Cepia. Next month, all North American locations are expected to carry holiday 2009’s hot toy property.

In addition, the workshops plan to stock exclusively licensed Zhu Zhu Pets merchandise. This summer, company-owned stores worldwide will also carry the motorized hamsters.

Up until now, the Zhu Zhu Pets were sold in the U.S. at retailers such as Toys“R”Us, Target and Walmart.
