The Boy Scouts of America Adds New Licensees

The Boy Scouts of America continues to grow their list of licensees. Recently signed deals include Lladro USA for gifts and novelties; PowerFilm for sporting goods; and Allied Products Corporation and Lionel for toys, games and hobbies. DK Publishing will produce a Norman Rockwell’s Boy Scouts of America Coffee Table Book.

In addition, Robert Kaufman Fabrics has introduced a line of cotton quilting fabrics with designs including patriotic themes incorporating Scouting symbols, badges, values and laws. The product will be available with two color palettes—one intended for Cub Scouts and the other for Boy Scouts. They will be sold in fat quarter bundles with pieces from the current Boy Scouts of America Fabric Collection, as well, to offer a coordinated look. The designs were created for their use in quilts and accessory projects such as camping gear, pajamas and packs.

Robert Kaufman’s Boy Scouts of America Fabric Collection is currently distributed in 3,000 independent retailers, plus larger specialty chains (including JoAnn’s, Hancock’s, and Hobby Lobby) and online retailers eQuilter and Fabric Depot.
