Sander Schwartz, president of FremantleMedia’s Kids and Family Entertainment division, will be leaving the company by the end of this month, License! Global has learned.
Schwartz established the division in 2009 when it was still a part of the now defunct Fremantle Enterprises division and has led the development strategy for Fremantle’s children's content since.
Prior to joining Fremantle, Schwartz held executive roles at Sony Pictures Television International and Warner Bros. Animation. He won an Emmy for his role in producing the "Batman" series for Kids WB!, as well as other awards.
During his tenure at Fremantle Schwartz expanded the group with several series including “Tree Fu Tom,” “Strange Hill High,” “Wizards Vs. Aliens” and “Max Steel.”
