Hasbro’s Verrecchia Makes Hall of Fame
Alfred J. Verrecchia, chairman of the board of directors of Hasbro, was inducted into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place during the Toy of the Year Awards Feb. 12, which opened the 108th American International Toy Fair.



Jakks Pacific Shows New Pokémon Toys
Jakks Pacific introduced a new Pokémon toy line to support the launch of the Pokémon Black and Pokémon White video games for the Nintendo DS and the TV series, “Pokémon: Black& White,” which hits stores in May.
