12:30pm - 2:00pm

Have you ever wanted to know why some toy brands are extremely successful on Facebook? We will highlight the benefits of entertainment partnerships online and offline and show you what works and doesn’t work when approaching Social Media. Toy brands integrating their product lines with blockbuster films and television properties are much more likely to grow a loyal following on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. The stickiness factor of your brand in relation to the entertainment licensing industry makes a huge impact on the number of fans you are likely to obtain. We will discuss the importance of engagement planning and specifically, the market research you will need to do before you succeed. Throughout this workshop, we provide the attendees with social media guidelines and answer questions about their fan pages. We will offer our expertise and help critique current social media programs in order to show attendees how they can boost their performance to grow a large, profitable community online. Suzanne and Victoria will present a strategic and innovative presentation offering their insights into the best practices of social media in toy and entertainment licensing as it pertains to the consumer products industry.
