With a career that spans 30 years, Linda is a leader in marketing, brand management, e-commerce and promotion initiatives for major retailers, specialty retail, art industry, licensing partnerships, media and entertainment, as well as entrepreneurial business environments. Her expertise and strong track record of exceeding marketing and sales goals, building brands and driving business success makes her a vital part of any organization.

Whether conceiving a breakthrough media-based retail concept for Discovery Channel, building an entrepreneurial collectible gift brand for Gallery Art Glass, driving an integrated growth strategy of the core demographic as the chief architect of the Thomas Kinkade brand, overseeing every aspect of a major event, coaching an emerging artist, or creating gourmet cuisine, Linda achieves success. She built and managed the branding, marketing, PR and communications programs for the rapidly growing Discovery Channel Stores – with as many as 58 new stores within one year – culminating in 175 locations and $275M in annual retail sales.

For Thomas Kinkade, one of this country’s most iconic consumer brands, she added multimillion dollar sales volume and double digit sales increases annually for 6+ years by initiating and directing strategic alliances and branding partnerships with Disney, Warner Bros., Elvis Presley Enterprises, NASCAR, Major League Baseball and others.

Linda’s expertise in the licensing industry, as either a licensor or licensee for 15+ years, has made her readily recognized for her expertise and strategic approach to integrated brand and business strategies. As a Top 100 Licensor, she achieved $400M+ in annual retail sales with 85+ licensees for the Kinkade brand. Her recent work coaching and preparing emerging artists for the licensing business adds another aspect to her acumen.

Her engaging attitude, professional demeanor and clear ability to have fun and inspire others make Linda a persuasive change agent with strong consensus building skills who makes a difference.

A native of Northern California, Linda enjoys cooking gourmet fare, listening to jazz and rockand roll music, watching great movies, and traveling throughout the U.S. and around the world. In addition, she also loves to spend time with family and friends, reading contemporary literature, and is always ready to try a new restaurant or learn more about wine. She and her husband Richard currently reside outside of San Francisco where their three daughters and families live close by.

As Managing Director of the Business Development Group with Artexpo Studios, Rick F. Barnett heads a team of industry professionals who review candidates brought forth for consideration as Member Artists with AeS. Accepted artists are given opportunities to develop their career through multiple Member Levels and are also offered Continuing Education Classes where they and others working with them in career development, can become certified in various segments of the art business.

Liz Wain’s career spans 23 years leading teams that design, manufacture and market a broad range of consumer fashion products, including home furnishings, textiles, house wares, apparel, jewelry and women’s accessories, personal care, stationery, paper products, general gifts, and collectibles.  Experienced in demographics and price points, luxury to mass, Liz and her teams deliver well-designed, cohesive collections on trend, on margin and on time while having fun.

Liz began her career as a pioneer in the gift and home furnishings arena in 1987 with a single napkin.  Over the ensuing years, Liz’s distinctive, signature style evolved into a life-style brand of home furnishings.  Her couture collection sold in over 500 luxury retailers across the country.  Additionally, her licensed products sold through mass and specialty retailers including: Target, JCP, TJ Maxx and Kohl’s.

Much of Liz’s work today is done through her consulting group: Seven by Five. Seven by Five develops products from concept through production, building compelling brands and collections of products that grow businesses.  Working along side retailers and manufacturers, Clients include: Alberto Culver, Focus Products Group, Oggi Corporation, Counter Art, Denyse Schmidt, Mercedes Benz and Zane Lamprey.  Currently, Liz leads the business development design team at Enesco.
