Invite only showcases also take place on Monday, May 20. The Licensing International Excellence Awards take place on Monday, May 20 at 6.30pm. 

Licensing Expo takes place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center: South & North.  

The main exhibit hall containing exhibitors, activations, immersive brand experiences and educational sessions can be found on the Casino level of the South Convention Center. You can also find additional meetings spaces, showcases and events on the second floor of the South Convention Center and in the North Convention Center.

Licensing Expo Admissions Policy

Manufacturer/Licensee; Licensing Agent; Brand Owner/Licensor/IP Owner, Distributor/Wholesaler

$50 admission fee that includes: 

  • Access to the Online Meetings Platform - browse the detailed exhibitor and IP/brand list and send & receive meeting invites to/from exhibitors  
  • Exclusive discounts on hotel options throughout the MGM resorts 
  • Access to NEW networking events  
  • Access to NEW immersive brand experiences 
  • Access to show floor educational sessions and keynotes  

 

Free of charge admission to all qualified registrants 

Retailer – to qualify, you must provide a valid business email address and company website. Please register using this link and await approval. 

Retail passes for Licensing Expo are available to professionals employed by a retail organization which sells direct to consumer, either online or in-store.  

Press/Media – please register using this link and await approval. You may be asked to provide accreditation during the process. 

Free of charge admission to all participating exhibitors and their staff and contractors.  

Exhibitors must only register using their company specific exhibitor registration link to prevent paying an admission fee. This will have been emailed to the main contact in charge of your booth operations. If you need to access the link, please contact [email protected].

Service providers can choose from 3 different options based on budget and business objectives:   

Service Provider Pass - $50 

Fee includes: 

  • Exclusive discounts on hotel options throughout the MGM resorts 
  • Access to NEW networking events  
  • Access to NEW immersive brand experiences 
  • Access to show floor educational sessions and keynotes
    For access to the Online Meetings Platform, please upgrade to the Service Provider Meetings+ Pass. 

 

Service Provider Meetings+ Pass - $500 

Includes all the benefits of the Service Provider Pass. PLUS, access the Online Meetings Platform to browse the exhibitor and IP/brand list & send and receive up to 100 exhibitor meeting invites. 

 

Service Provider Exhibitor (part of Advice Center) - $5,000 

Includes a tabletop meeting space, listing in the Exhibitor Directory and pre-event promotion. Also benefits from unrestricted access to the Online Meetings Platform to send and receive unlimited meeting invites to all attendee types. Contact the Licensing Expo sales team for more information. 

 

Licensing Expo is a trade event and does not allow entry to anyone under the age of 18 years old. We organize invite-only, pre-qualified events and programs for students and school children. These are officially sanctioned by Licensing Expo and subject to strict pre-approval processes.

 

Licensing Expo is a trade event and does not allow entry to anyone under the age of 18 years old. Talent and performers are subject to a pre-approval process / authorization and must contact us in advance to guarantee admission.  

We also have a Parents’ Room on the show floor for anyone who requires it.  

Licensing Expo Party tickets 

The Licensing Expo Opening Night Party tickets can be purchased through any of our registration links. The cost to attend is $95 per person including food & beverage (tickets are non-refundable).

Licensing International Awards tickets 

Registration will open in early 2024. Please await further information or visit www.licensinginternational.org 

The onsite registration fee is $75. We strongly advise that you register and pay in advance to avoid entry delays.  

There will not be a cost to reprint your badge if you lose it. 

All passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.  

Each person has to register individually using the online registration portal that you used to register yourself, or share the link with them to register directly. 

Please note that you must have consent from them before sharing their personal contact details. 

You can apply for a Visa Invitation Letter by clicking here, you will need your registration key from your registration confirmation email to complete the form. 

We are continually evaluating the best ways to facilitate productive new business opportunities and meetings between exhibitors and attendees. To protect the quality of these meetings, provide parity for our exhibitors, and invest in valuable show floor experiences that deliver return on time and investment, we have updated our admissions policy for 2024, which now includes the introduction of a small admission fee for most attendee groups. We have also updated the rules of engagement for service provider attendees, who, in the majority, sell services to all attendee groups – including our exhibitors. 

All 2023 Licensing Expo attendees will have been communicated a loyalty discount code (via email) that waives the admission fee for 2024 admission tickets. That discount code must be used by January 31, 2024. If you attended in 2023 and haven’t received the code, please contact [email protected] before January 31.

Payment is by credit card only and all major credit cards are accepted. Once registered, you will receive a tax receipt via your confirmation email.

Once you have selected your admission ticket, you will then be able to add the Opening Night Party ticket to your basket. You must select the admission ticket before selecting the Opening Night Party ticket. 

You are also able to purchase a party ticket through the online meeting platform.

Please note, we are not able to offer refunds.

We would like to use this information (anonymously) to ensure future iterations of the show better cater for the needs of our attendees. Consumer research has identified differing event needs based on generational preference and we want to ensure that future show developments are based on the specific profile of Licensing Expo current and future attendees.

'At the Show' Information

There will be several bars and cafes in the main exhibit hall. We are also introducing a NEW food court for 2024 offering hot food options – this can also be found on the main exhibit hall. 

If you are looking further afield, there are plenty of food & beverage options all around the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, ranging from freshly baked pastries to a steak at STRIPSTEAK Steakhouse. Find out more on Mandalay Bay’s website here

There is free WiFi throughout the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre and MGM Resorts.  

The event will have 'You are Here' boards and directional signage throughout. For all the show information, exhibitor list and floorplan, make sure to pick up your copy of the official License Global Show Dailies at the show entrances.
